About the Housekeeping Supervisor Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor Saudi Talent to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within the hotel environment.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the team of Housekeeping Attendants to achieve operational objectives. This role ensures that the hotel's standards of cleanliness and maintenance meet specified requirements, while also upholding a focus on guest service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and assign job duties to Housekeeping Attendants.
Issue keys and necessary supplies to Housekeeping Attendants.
Monitor VIPs, Do Not Disturb, Sleep Out, and Double-Lock Rooms, taking appropriate action as required.
Attend daily meetings and receive special instructions.
Verify check-outs before reporting rooms as vacant.
Receive and fulfill special requests from guests.
Inspect cleaned areas using a checklist to ensure adequacy, standard supply levels in rooms, and prompt reporting of immediate repairs.
Complete necessary reports and hand over found articles to the lost and found department.
Supervise the cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and stairwells.
Train and assist Housekeeping Attendants, and provide performance feedback to superiors.
Assist with inventory management and ensure that all housekeeping machines and equipment are properly handled and maintained.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory capacity. A strong commitment to guest service and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency are essential for this position.
