About the Role

Al Rabie Saudi Foods Co., a leading Saudi juice and beverage manufacturer, is seeking a Key Account Manager to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position reports to the Modern Trade Manager and is responsible for managing and developing business with assigned Modern Trade key accounts, including national and regional hypermarket and supermarket chains. The role involves owning the full commercial relationship, from annual joint business planning and negotiation to in-store execution and P&L delivery, contributing significantly to Al Rabie’s growth in the organized retail channel.

Account Management and Execution

  • Develop and execute annual account plans with clear revenue, volume, and market share targets for each customer.
  • Drive sustainable growth across the Al Rabie portfolio within hypermarkets, supermarkets, and organized retail chains.
  • Identify growth opportunities, including new listings, incremental displays, and expansion into new store openings.
  • Lead the introduction and sell-in of new products and pack formats in collaboration with marketing and trade marketing teams.
  • Manage day-to-day and strategic relationships with buyers, category managers, and commercial teams at key accounts.
  • Lead joint business planning sessions and quarterly business reviews to build long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure best-in-class in-store execution, including planogram compliance, shelf availability, secondary displays, and pricing accuracy.
  • Conduct regular store visits to monitor execution quality, competitor activity, and identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with field sales and merchandising teams to translate account agreements into store-level execution.

Commercial and P&L Responsibilities

  • Own the account P&L, including net revenue, trade spend, promotional ROI, and profitability targets for assigned customers.
  • Negotiate annual trading terms, pricing, promotional calendars, and listing agreements, ensuring margin compliance.
  • Manage trade investment budgets effectively, balancing promotional visibility, activation, and bottom-line contribution.
  • Deliver accurate volume and revenue forecasts in coordination with supply chain and demand planning teams.
  • Plan and execute promotional programs and seasonal activations tailored to each account’s shopper base.
  • Partner with trade marketing to secure premium in-store visibility and branded displays.
  • Use category and shopper insights to build data-driven selling stories.
  • Build and maintain account scorecards covering sell-in, sell-out, distribution, share, and promotional performance.
  • Use retailer data and market intelligence to generate actionable insights and track competitive activity.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in key account management or Modern Trade sales roles within FMCG.
  • A total of 8+ years experience in FMCG commercial or sales functions, with Food & Beverage experience preferred.
  • Proven experience managing major KSA retail chains (*, Panda, Danube, BinDawood, Carrefour, Othaim, or similar).
  • Demonstrated P&L or trade budget ownership.
  • Experience in negotiating annual trading terms and joint business plans.
  • Track record of delivering sell-out growth, distribution gains, and promotional execution.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration across supply chain, marketing, and finance teams.
