The Role: Manager, Strategy & Insights

LEO MEA is seeking a Manager, Strategy & Insights to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to managing strategy and insights for key assigned clients, consistently delivering inspiring and untapped insights to foster breakthrough thinking. The Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement in both the strategy and creative products, while forging reliable partnerships with internal and client teams. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively use and advocate the Publicis Groupe FUEL platform.
  • Participate in Groupe and Agency OPEN briefs with inspiring springboards.
  • Deconstruct past award submissions to identify key components of successful stories and discuss findings.
  • Develop proactive briefs for clients based on qualified opportunities.
  • Lead client Effectiveness awards entries and submissions, regionally and globally, and support creative teams on Creative awards.
  • Focus on delivering revelatory insights rather than mere facts or observations.
  • Persistently improve the craft of strategic thinking behind briefs.
  • Attend internal and external trainings promptly.
  • Drive the team to explore cultural trends for new uses of technology, data, and design to integrate innovative thinking into strategic work.
  • Lead and create focused, insightful, and inspiring connections plans with creative briefs.
  • Manage and build primary and secondary research for both clients and the agency.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from available sources to provide strategic implications and creative inspiration.
  • Participate in agency new business pitches, contributing distinctive strategic thinking.

Business Acumen and Operational Efficiency

  • Maintain knowledge of client categories and businesses.
  • Ensure successful reviews and final delivery of assignments and tasks for clients and pitches.
  • Create client presentations that effectively communicate the story and position work for success.
  • Conduct category and competitive landscape assessments.
  • Plan and actively participate in client workshops.
  • Monitor social, cultural, and technological trends and their impact on attitudes and behaviors.
  • Facilitate team participation in client-conducted research.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in producing reports and updates for stakeholders.
  • Consistently monitor campaign performance (brand, business, media) for clients and develop optimization plans for future campaigns.
  • Nourish and safeguard client relationships through proactive knowledge-sharing and rapport building.

Required Skills and Mindset

  • Market Research: Ability to design and execute original primary research methods, producing actionable reports.
  • Ideation: Skill in synthesizing complex information into compelling stories and inspiring creative opportunities.
  • Competitive Analysis: Drive analysis of threats and opportunities for clients and share insights with teams.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant strategy and insights role within the advertising or marketing industry. A proven track record of delivering impactful strategic thinking and fostering strong client relationships is essential.
