Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a dedicated Sales Manager to join our team in the Makkah region, covering operations in both Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is crucial for driving sales initiatives and fostering strong customer relationships within the hospitality sector.

Role Overview

The Sales Manager is primarily accountable for proactively soliciting and managing sales opportunities. This position ensures that business is transitioned efficiently and promptly for effective service delivery. The role involves assisting in the leadership of daily sales activities, with a core focus on cultivating long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve defined sales objectives and personal sales goals. Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience.

Building Customer Relationships

A key aspect of this role involves developing and nurturing strategic relationships to generate sales opportunities. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and complementary sales efforts.
• Building and strengthening relationships with both existing and new customers through various activities such as sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
• Developing relationships within the local community to expand the customer base for potential sales.
• Managing and developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Providing accurate, complete, and effective turnover of information to Event Management for seamless service.

Sales Management and Market Insight

This role requires active participation in sales processes and a strong understanding of market dynamics to maximize revenue. Core duties include:

• Participating in sales calls with team members to acquire new business and finalize deals.
• Executing and supporting the operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals, drafting contracts, and managing customer correspondence.
• Identifying new business opportunities to achieve personal and location-specific revenue goals.
• Analyzing the overall market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand, to inform sales strategies.
• Securing the most advantageous opportunities for the location based on prevailing market conditions and specific needs.
• Gaining a deep understanding of the location's primary target customer and their service expectations to offer tailored business solutions.

Delivering Service Excellence

The Sales Manager is instrumental in upholding the company's commitment to outstanding customer service and fostering loyalty. Key responsibilities in this area include:

• Supporting the company’s service and relationship strategy by consistently delivering service excellence throughout each customer interaction.
• Servicing customers effectively to increase their share of business with the company.
• Executing and supporting the company’s established customer service standards.
• Providing excellent customer service in line with the company's daily service fundamentals.
• Setting a positive example for guest relations and interactions.
• Interacting with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels, contributing to continuous improvement.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Sales Manager position should have 0-1 years of experience in a relevant sales or hospitality role.
