About the Production Supervisor Role at IBRAQ

IBRAQ (إبراق) is seeking a Production Supervisor to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing production operations and ensuring efficiency and quality within the manufacturing environment.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Production Supervisor will lead and coordinate the activities of the production team, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. This role is critical for driving operational efficiency, implementing process improvements, and fostering a positive and productive work environment within the production facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure production goals, schedules, and quality standards are achieved.
• Manage, train, and evaluate production staff, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and resources for efficient and safe performance.
• Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for all employees.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure target attainment.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, including safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics, and communicate results to management.
• Coordinate production workflows and collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and inventory to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and waste management strategies.
• Motivate and engage production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a production supervision role or a related field.
• Solid understanding of production processes and operational best practices.
