Regional Chief Financial Officer

About the Role

Converge is seeking a Regional Chief Financial Officer to join a large regional conglomerate in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the regional finance function and collaborating with senior leadership to enhance financial performance, drive strategic growth, and contribute to long-term value creation across multiple markets and business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the regional finance agenda, providing strategic direction across financial planning, performance management, governance, and risk.
• Lead the development and execution of financial strategy.
• Manage core finance functions including accounting, controlling, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
• Provide senior leadership with financial insights to support investment, expansion, and broader business decisions.
• Develop regional finance capabilities and strengthen processes and controls.
• Ensure a high standard of financial governance across the organization.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 20 years of progressive finance experience, including significant regional and leadership exposure.
• Proven experience leading finance functions across multiple countries or markets within a complex organization.
• Strong track record in financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Extensive experience overseeing accounting, controlling, treasury, cash management, and financial governance.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic finance partner to executive leadership and support major business and investment decisions.
• Experience leading, developing, and building high-performing regional finance teams.
• Arabic speakers are highly preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of P&L management, working capital, cost optimization, and financial risk management.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

This role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within a large regional conglomerate. The successful candidate will operate as a senior member of the leadership team, contributing to the organization's continued growth and business performance.
