About the Role

Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking a Store Layout Planner to join our team. This full-time position, based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for developing customer-focused store layout solutions. The primary objective is to optimize space utilization and contribute to achieving the company's sales targets. Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience.

Store Layout Design and Implementation

• Create and adapt store space and layouts in adherence to agreed, generic design principles.
• Select the most appropriate display equipment from a predefined list of available options.
• Generate final design intent drawings using AutoCAD / Revit for vendor submissions, including cost estimating, elevations, and renderings for review and approval.
• Ensure all designs comply with legal and industry standards in design and building codes, while staying abreast of industry trends and architectural advancements.
• Verify the specifications of store fixtures and equipment when ordering new items for stores.

Space Optimization and Strategic Contribution

• Implement flow and adjacency principles across stores to optimize the customer shopping experience.
• Maintain an appropriate balance between primary and secondary store space allocation, aligning with generic design by store type.
• Conduct periodic reviews of proposed store layouts to ensure compliance with generic layouts across all market and store types.
• Monitor evolving shopper needs and continuously adapt and improve layouts to meet changing requirements.
• Contribute to the development and review of the company's overall space management strategy.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Manage the space and store approval process, facilitating regular cross-functional meetings to secure efficient sign-offs.
• Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure project alignment and timely completion.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, capture structural elements for existing stores, and review implementations across all formats.
• Keep all stakeholders in the merchandising process informed of updates and changes.
• Actively seek, review, and integrate stakeholder feedback where applicable.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should have 0-1 years of professional experience in store layout planning, retail design, or a related field.
