About the Role

Watts Water Technologies is seeking an Assistant EHS Manager to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for developing and implementing robust Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) strategies across all company sites, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.

Core EHS Responsibilities

Develop and implement a unified EHS strategy across all operational sites.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, MHRSD requirements, environmental regulations, and internal company standards.
Establish and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
Manage specific hazards including foundry operations, machinery safety, chemical controls, and fire prevention protocols.
Oversee environmental programs related to waste management, emissions control, and water usage optimization.
Develop and implement emergency response plans, conducting periodic drills to ensure preparedness.
Deliver EHS training programs and enforce contractor safety and work permit requirements.
Coordinate effectively with government authorities and external inspectors on EHS matters.
Track and report EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.

Sustainability Initiatives

Implement energy efficiency and carbon reduction programs.
Promote recycling, waste minimization, and circular economy practices within the organization.
Improve water conservation efforts and recycling processes.
Support sustainable procurement and renewable energy initiatives.
Collaborate with global and regional ESG teams on sustainability reporting.
Conduct employee sustainability awareness and training programs.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Assistant EHS Manager position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in EHS management, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of Saudi EHS regulations and international standards is essential.

This is a full-time role based in Saudi Arabia, requiring a dedicated professional to manage EHS and sustainability efforts across various sites. The position involves working closely with operational teams and senior leadership to ensure a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
