About the Role

Pepsico is seeking a Cntrl & Rpt Asst Supervisor for a full-time position. This role is crucial for enhancing financial serviceability by facilitating key account reconciliations and ensuring timely confirmation processes. The Supervisor will also be instrumental in implementing accounts receivable review procedures and collaborating with external legal firms to resolve court cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate key account reconciliations to enhance serviceability and ensure timely reconciliation and confirmation processes.
  • Implement and manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) review and reconciliation process.
  • Prepare timely reconciliations for all assigned customers, identifying variances and facilitating corrective actions until closure.
  • Ensure timely review of reconciliations with DC finance supervisors, the Credit Controller, and CAM, maintaining easily retrievable filing.
  • Prepare Customer Reconciliation Summaries and share them with regional sales & finance teams, reporting to the Credit Controller as per deadlines.
  • Follow up for confirmation and complete reconciliation according to OTC timelines.
  • List CDA variable and fixed credit, coordinating with the Revenue Analyst for timely processing in alignment with deductions.
  • Receive payment analysis of OT customer payments from FSS.
  • Report and follow up to resolve variances with the sales team and customers, addressing unpaid/short-paid invoices, credit/debit notes, and stale items.
  • Review monthly collection schedules and monitor progress to ensure all OT customers pay as per the LTA, reporting delays to KAMs and the Finance team.
  • Follow up on action minutes with the sales team regarding Credit Notes (CN), Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), and promotions.
  • Maintain a summary of LTA highlights for OT customers, including credit terms, balance confirmation, and fixed incentives.
  • Follow up with collection agencies or insurance on cases handed over for collecting receivable balances.
  • Share clear reasons for holds on CCPF to facilitate informed decision-making by the Credit Controller, CAM, and management regarding order releases or actions.

Financial Control and Compliance

  • Understand the objective of financial controls on an ongoing basis.
  • Document test script attributes for effective execution of controls as necessary.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of controls through quarterly or as-needed testing.
  • Maintain an audit trail to evidence the execution of activities, sufficient to enable re-performance by an independent third party.
  • Remediate any control deficiencies as necessary.
  • Provide results of verification as necessary.

Collaboration and Professional Development

  • Provide regular feedback to the Credit Controller and review the status of reconciliations and customer accounts.
  • Work proactively with peers to achieve common business objectives and reach optimized status.
  • Share new initiatives and areas of improvement with the Credit Controller and follow through for implementation.
  • Coordinate with the Credit Controller, CAM, and Sales team to ensure timely balance confirmation is received from salesmen and credit customers.
  • Understand organizational values, set objectives, work for common goals, and self-develop for career progress.

Candidate Profile

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in control, reporting, or financial reconciliation functions.
