The Role of an Electrical Repair Technician

Lucid Motors Middle East is seeking an Electrical Repair Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical components within our advanced vehicle systems. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment, adhering strictly to electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures to deliver high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
• Install electrical components such as switches, VCU, BCM, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Test electrical systems using meters, testers, and diagnostic tools.
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes.
• Document repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians.
• Respond to emergency repair requests and perform on-call duties when required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment.
• Trim -DE trim cars in readiness to fit or remove electrical components.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical repair and maintenance. A strong understanding of electrical systems, diagnostic tools, and safety protocols is essential for success in this role.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20–25 kg.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or in varying temperatures.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime or on-call shifts when needed.
