About the Role

stc is seeking a General Project Assistant Manager to oversee strategic project initiatives. This full-time role involves planning, developing, reviewing, and supporting assigned strategic projects, ensuring compliance with the master project plan. The Assistant Manager will also track and review financial aspects of projects to ensure completion within approved budgets and timelines, adhering to all stipulated business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support management in developing designated stakeholder Business Plans and Program Cards in line with group strategic priorities.
• Review business cases to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
• Align Business Plans and Program Cards with defined group strategic ambitions.
• Assist in managing designated stakeholders involved in the Group strategic planning process, ensuring timely completion of Business Plans and strategic programs.
• Inspect designated stakeholders regarding strategic planning.
• Inspect designated stakeholders concerning the implications of change requests that impact Business Plans and strategic program cards.
• Ensure the delivery of Business Plans and strategic programs according to the approved plan by the Strategy Planning cycle.
• Provide designated stakeholders with the necessary business plan and program card templates.
• Report any identified bottlenecks or gaps in the strategy planning cycle promptly to the Strategy Planning Excellence department.
• Contribute to the annual strategy planning cycle retrospective session.
• Ensure financial alignment with the Business Finance team throughout the cycle.
• Support strategy planning stakeholder engagement.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. The position requires a professional who can effectively manage and support strategic projects, ensuring adherence to both financial and timeline constraints.
