About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a clinical setting in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves assessing patient health, developing and implementing care plans, and maintaining medical records. The Registered Nurse will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient health assessments, including physical examinations, vital sign monitoring, and symptom observation.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions.
• Provide wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and monitoring for infection.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during medical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Observe and record patient conditions, reporting significant changes to the medical team.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
• Conduct purposeful rounding to ensure patient needs are met and to prevent complications.
• Adhere to strict infection control standards, including hand hygiene and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in infection control surveillance and reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient items and equipment according to Fakeeh Care policies.
• Follow established protocols for emergencies (*, codes, RRT) to ensure patient safety.
• Innovate in patient care and implement evidence-based practices.

Administrative and Supportive Duties

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Advocate for patients' needs and preferences.
• Oversee the work of junior staff and nursing students, providing guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Identify and address issues in patient care, contributing to solutions and improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing manager within the scope of the job.

Continuous Improvement and Compliance

• Perform all duties in alignment with Fakeeh’s Person-Centered care values.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proactively address job-related safety concerns.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
• Comply with cybersecurity policies and standards, participating in awareness training.
• Uphold Fakeeh Care’s code of conduct, policies, and ethical standards.
• Complete mandatory education requirements at least one month prior to expiration.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant nursing role. The ability to work effectively within a clinical setting and collaborate with a diverse healthcare team is essential.
