Interventional Radiology Consultant

About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking an Interventional Radiology Consultant to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This contract position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in interventional radiology. The consultant will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care, ensuring timely implementation of treatment plans, and contributing to the continuous improvement of patient services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties in accordance with assigned clinical privileges.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments (clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, functional) and document findings in medical records.
• Develop evidence-based patient care plans, adhering to standards of care, and document them in medical records.
• Ensure timely implementation of patient care plans.
• Serve as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for inpatients admitted under their name.
• Develop discharge plans for inpatients on the day of admission and involve discharge-planning services as needed.
• Assess inpatients daily, documenting assessments and care plans in daily progress notes using the SOAP format.
• Respond to medical consultations promptly.
• Document medical interventions in a timely manner.
• Adhere strictly to Fakeeh Care standards for medical record documentation.
• Complete and authenticate discharge summaries for inpatients in a timely manner, ensuring discharge instructions and medication education are provided.
• Attend facility duties and respond to calls as per the departmental call schedule.
• Participate in departmental and general staff meetings, contributing to discussions on efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
• Write medical reports for patients in a timely manner and according to Fakeeh Care format.
• Contribute to teaching rounds and activities as requested by the medical department chairperson.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventative measures.
• Perform other assigned duties within the scope and requirements of the job.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in Interventional Radiology.
