Legal Specialist

About the Role

Dallah Healthcare is seeking a Legal Specialist to provide comprehensive legal support and advisory services across the organization. This full-time role involves reviewing and drafting legal documents, managing contractual and regulatory matters, handling legal cases and disputes, and ensuring all organizational activities comply with applicable Saudi laws and regulations. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to various departments on operational and business-related legal matters.
• Draft, review, and provide legal comments on contracts, agreements, memoranda, undertakings, and other legal documents.
• Review organizational policies, procedures, and official documents from a legal perspective as required.
• Conduct legal research and interpret applicable Saudi laws and regulations.
• Support the management and follow-up of litigation cases, claims, disputes, and other legal proceedings.
• Prepare legal memoranda, correspondence, notices, responses, and other necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and law firms regarding assigned legal matters and cases.
• Monitor legal cases, deadlines, hearings, judgments, and required follow-up actions.
• Support negotiations, settlements, and dispute-resolution activities as needed.
• Assist departments in identifying potential legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigating actions.
• Liaise with relevant government, regulatory, judicial, and other external authorities when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of contracts, legal cases, correspondence, opinions, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor changes in applicable legislation and regulations and communicate relevant legal implications to concerned stakeholders.
• Prepare periodic reports on legal cases, contracts, risks, and other legal activities.

Operational Compliance and Improvement

• Ensure work is performed in accordance with approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, considering leading practices, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Ensure day-to-day activities are properly performed in line with established policies and procedures.
• Follow up on escalated cases/issues to ensure efficient and timely resolution.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a legal role.
• Familiarity with the Saudi legal system and relevant healthcare laws and regulations.
• Strong skills in legal drafting, research, and case management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Basic knowledge of IT service workflows and healthcare IT systems is desirable.
