About the Role

stc is seeking a Marketing Assistant Manager to ensure effective Marketing & Corporate Communication services are provided to the business. This full-time role involves supervising data collation for market and customer requirements, assisting in the design of marketing initiatives, and overseeing document management. The Assistant Manager will also support the design and implementation of communication campaigns under senior guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the design of end-to-end marketing initiatives, including market research, competitor intelligence, market segmentation, event management, and branding.
• Contribute to the development of media relations strategy, aiming for high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media.
• Conduct brand image surveys to monitor and analyze stc brand performance and health metrics (awareness, equity, consumer diagnostics, brand perception), under senior guidance.
• Train and support the development of "brand champions" across stc to ensure effective knowledge transfer of advertising and branding policies and enhance adaptability to established guidelines.
• Implement communication plans related to media relations, event management, digital marketing, and public relations, as directed by senior management.
• Consolidate Marketing and Corporate Communication material (*, published marketing material, policy documents, competitor intelligence, benchmark data) and coordinate with the Document Management Department for database updates.
• Support non-complex tasks within stc’s branding initiatives, including brand image analysis and brand communication, as required.
• Manage and centralize all Intellectual Properties (IPs) developed or acquired through corporate communication activities, such as brand imagery and copyrights from advertising campaigns (TV, software licenses, database accesses).

Team Operations and Support

• Manage day-to-day team operations within a specified scope, ensuring accuracy in work processes.
• Communicate campaign/project goals, plans, and budgets to junior team members to ensure task implementation within budget.
• Assist in monitoring, analyzing, and communicating PR results on a quarterly basis.
• Support in evaluating opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising.
• Supervise stc trademark registration processes and procedures, including the review and maintenance of trademark document libraries.
• Resolve non-routine queries related to marketing material development, adhering to established standards and best practices.
• Review technical reports related to marketing and corporate communications and forward them to seniors for analysis.
• Support team members and resolve routine queries to ensure work continuity.
• Liaise with other supervisors to build effective working relationships and identify synergies.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 4-6 years of relevant experience in marketing and corporate communications. The position requires a professional who can effectively supervise marketing activities and support communication strategies.
