Role Overview

The Purchasing Manager (Saudi National Only) will oversee the procurement of goods and services for FAENA in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring that all items are acquired at optimal quality, cost, and timing. The manager will be responsible for supplier management, contract negotiation, and internal coordination to maintain efficient inventory levels, control costs, and ensure a smooth operational supply chain. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support operational needs and cost efficiency.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability criteria.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with vendors.
• Issue and manage purchase orders in line with approved budgets and requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with internal departments (finance, stores, operations) to identify purchasing needs.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Control purchasing costs and identify opportunities for savings.
• Review and approve purchase requests and quotations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
• Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, damaged goods, or discrepancies.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing and supplier options.
• Ensure quality standards are met for all purchased items.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for procurement activities.
• Prepare purchasing reports and performance analysis for management.
• Ensure ethical and transparent procurement practices at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• A Saudi National.
• 5-10 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement management role.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective purchasing strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
• Proficiency in managing purchase orders, budgets, and inventory.
• Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and ethical practices.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with various internal departments.
• Strong analytical skills for cost control and performance reporting.
