Registered Nurse

About the Role

Dr Sulaiman AlHabib Medical Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe and effective nursing care to pre and post-operative patients in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires the application of professional knowledge and skills in accordance with HMG policies and procedures, ensuring patients receive timely multidisciplinary care.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive assigned patients and apply the nursing care process according to approved policy.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with other team members.
• Monitor patient status and report any deviations or abnormal findings to the team leader and doctor on duty promptly.
• Execute doctor's orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide individualized patient and family education based on their needs.
• Document patient assessment findings, physical responses to nursing interventions, and progress.
• Initiate emergency and resuscitative measures as required.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain required mandatory unit-specific competency as per the approved competency matrix.
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet work needs, including pull-out and floating assignments.
• Adhere to JCIA/CBAHI standards and HMG policies.
• Provide clinical supervision and support when assigned as shift in charge (team leader), including conducting rounds, reporting unusual incidents, and attending doctor's rounds.
• Participate in patient status presentation and endorsement.
• Attend departmental education/training activities and meetings.
• Perform nursing procedures as required in the unit.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives.
• Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned by the charge nurse/head nurse within the realm of their knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent, or a 3-year General Nursing Diploma.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a relevant inpatient area.

Licensing and Certifications

• BLS or other relevant certifications.
• Valid Saudi Council license and licensure from the country of origin.
