Role Overview: Security Supervisor

FAENA is seeking a Security Supervisor to manage daily security operations in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and resort assets. The position requires a discreet, professional approach consistent with ultra-luxury hospitality standards and calls for 5-10 years of experience in a relevant security capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations across assigned resort areas.
• Lead and monitor security officers during patrols, shifts, and post assignments.
• Ensure all access points, entrances, and restricted areas are properly controlled.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and security equipment to detect and respond to incidents.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Report and document incidents accurately, escalating issues to the Security Manager when necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of resort premises to identify safety or security risks.
• Enforce resort security policies, procedures, and access control standards.
• Assist in managing VIP guest security arrangements when required.
• Support crowd control and safety measures during events, peak periods, and special operations.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping, and other departments for operational security needs.
• Ensure proper handover between shifts and maintain accurate logbook records.
• Conduct toolbox talks and briefings for security staff at the start of shifts.
• Ensure all security personnel are properly groomed, trained, and following standards.
• Assist in emergency response situations, including evacuations and drills.
• Monitor contractor, vendor, and visitor access to ensure compliance with security procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all guest and operational matters.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Security Supervisor position must possess 5-10 years of experience in security operations. This experience should ideally include supervisory responsibilities within a hospitality or similar service-oriented environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of security protocols and incident management.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role requires the ability to perform various physical movements across work areas, including navigating uneven terrain or confined spaces safely. The Security Supervisor must be able to remain active, constantly moving, or sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods throughout the work shift. This is classified as Medium Work, involving the exertion of up to 20kg of force occasionally, 10kg frequently, and up to 5kg constantly for moving objects, with occasional lifting and/or moving up to 15kg.
