About Ninja and the Role

Ninja is seeking a Senior Legal Specialist to join its Legal Affairs team. This full-time position is central to managing the company's contractual obligations and legal risk exposure.

Role Overview and Impact

The Senior Legal Specialist will primarily focus on the comprehensive management of commercial contracts and agreements. This involves drafting, thorough review, and negotiation, alongside providing critical legal and commercial risk advice to various business stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Identify and provide advice on legal and commercial risks inherent in contracts.
• Offer legal counsel to business units concerning contractual matters.
• Support complex and high-value contract negotiations.
• Maintain accurate contract records, approvals, renewals, and key contractual terms.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel as needed.
• Support dispute resolution processes related to contractual matters.
• Mentor junior Legal Specialists and contribute to the continuous improvement of contract processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in contract law, commercial law, or in-house legal practice.
• Strong hands-on experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Proven experience in providing legal advice and assessing contractual risks.

Preferred Background

• Experience within the E-commerce, Technology, or Retail sectors is preferred.
• Experience in a holding company or multi-entity environment is considered a plus.
