Showroom Sales Representative

About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a Showroom Sales Representative for a full-time position. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service within the showroom, ensuring customer needs are met from initial inquiry through to product delivery and after-sales support. The representative will be responsible for maintaining high service standards and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide customers through the showroom, introducing them to products and assisting with color and product coordination to secure orders.
• Calculate required quantities, issue invoices, and coordinate product delivery with showroom staff, assistants, workers, and drivers.
• Maintain the showroom's organization and cleanliness, ensuring all marketing tools like brochures and catalogs are available.
• Achieve sales targets as outlined in the sales plan and meet established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Process online customer requests and update the e-commerce platform, considering item availability and stock levels.
• Manage stock levels by placing orders from warehouses according to minimum and maximum thresholds, adhering to a first-in, first-out policy to prevent dead stock.
• Report any missing products in the main store to the direct manager.
• Ensure goods in warehouses are arranged according to policy to maintain accurate stock records and facilitate periodic inventory checks.
• Submit financial reports to the regional accountant when required and deposit daily cash sales into the company's account.
• Provide regular reports to the direct manager on competitor activities and promotions.
• Handle customer complaints professionally, aiming for resolution, and report them to the direct manager.
• Collaborate with other branches to facilitate the resale of slow-moving items.
• Implement company policies and instructions.
• Submit periodic reports on achievements, problems, and failures to the direct manager.
• Propose ideas and suggestions to enhance the sales process and value.
• Execute all functions in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.

Customer Service and Sales Focus

This role emphasizes a strong customer-centric approach, ensuring a positive experience for all showroom visitors. The representative will be instrumental in guiding customers through product selection, color coordination, and order fulfillment, while also managing post-sales inquiries and complaints professionally.

Operational Management

Beyond direct sales, the position involves critical operational tasks such as maintaining showroom standards, managing inventory, and coordinating with various internal teams. Adherence to company policies and procedures, particularly regarding stock management and financial reporting, is essential.

Reporting and Collaboration

The Showroom Sales Representative will be expected to provide regular, detailed reports to management on sales performance, competitor activities, and operational issues. Effective collaboration with colleagues, including other branch staff, is key to optimizing sales and inventory management.
