About Siemens Energy and the Sub-regional Sales Lead RS Role

Siemens Energy is seeking a Sub regional Sales Lead RS to join the team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves comprehensive commercial leadership for the RS2 territory, which includes Qatar, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, and Yemen. The position is critical for driving order intake, revenue, and margin performance across this diverse sub-region.

Role Overview and Commercial Scope

The Sub regional Sales Lead RS holds full commercial accountability for the RS2 territory, with a strong focus on strategically significant accounts such as Qatar Energy and the KSA national operator base. Executive account stewardship is a central aspect of this role, alongside direct ownership of commercial targets. The Gas Services division, which this role supports, provides solutions for low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization, encompassing gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators, along with modernization and digitalization offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the RS2 order intake and OE targets, ensuring country and account leads are accountable to plan and escalating at-risk deals early.
• Lead pipeline building for FY27, with a specific focus on the Qatargas NFB/LTP opportunity and other must-win deals.
• Maintain pipeline and forecast discipline, including CRM hygiene, slip register, and major tickets watchlist, in line with SD reporting cadence.
• Develop and maintain multi-level executive relationships within Qatar Energy, extending beyond immediate commercial contacts.
• Drive the broader MSA trajectory with Qatar Energy and replicate it within the sub-region where strategically sound, coordinating with global stakeholders.
• Build and execute account development plans for KSA national operators and Oman (SA, OQ affiliates).
• Lead, develop, and performance-manage RS2 country and account teams, fostering a high-performing, commercially disciplined sales culture.
• Ensure tender quality and RFQ compliance in partnership with Sales Application Support (SAS) and Sales Operations.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with M&U and PB/LTP to ensure integrated account coverage, particularly for KSA program business.

Required Experience

• Over 10 years of sales or commercial leadership experience in gas services, rotating equipment, or broader energy/industrial capital equipment.
• Demonstrated ownership of order intake or P&L-type targets in Middle East markets.
• Direct exposure to Qatar Energy or comparable National Oil Company (NOC) is preferred.
• Experience managing large, strategically significant single-customer relationships alongside a broader territory portfolio.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven people leadership experience across geographically dispersed, multi-country teams.
• An engineering background (mechanical, chemical, or related field) is strongly preferred.
