AC Technician

About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. The successful candidate will ensure HVAC equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while promptly addressing maintenance and repair requirements. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair various air-conditioning and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related faults in AC equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on split AC units, package units, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and other HVAC systems as required.
• Check refrigerant levels, identify leaks, and carry out refrigerant charging when required.
• Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, motors, thermostats, controls, and other components.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, including checking wiring, capacitors, contactors, relays, and control panels.
• Clean and replace filters, coils, drain lines, and other components as required.
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests and complete repairs within the required timeframe.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective action.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts, and equipment condition.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety requirements and company policies.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel when carrying out major repairs or shutdown activities.
• Perform other HVAC-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Experience and Physical Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in AC maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work in hot, confined, or elevated areas when required.
• Ability to lift and handle tools and equipment safely.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or emergency call-outs when required.
