About the Assistant Store Manager Role

Apparel Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for supporting the overall operations of the store and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The Assistant Store Manager will assist the Store Manager in various managerial tasks and assume leadership responsibilities in their absence, overseeing daily operations, managing staff, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations and assume full responsibility in their absence.
• Drive sales performance and ensure the achievement of set targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards and enhance customer engagement.
• Oversee inventory management, visual merchandising, and store presentation.
• Manage and develop store staff, including scheduling, performance feedback, and adherence to company policies.
• Ensure compliance with all store administration and security procedures.

Sales and Operational Oversight

• Implement and uphold a high standard of customer focus, leading by example in customer service.
• Actively pursue and exceed shop sales targets, ensuring team understanding of KPIs.
• Implement promotional offers and effective strategies to drive store sales and maximize revenue.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to set sales targets and monitor performance.
• Oversee inventory control, merchandising, and ensure accurate stock levels through regular checks and replenishment.
• Maintain store layout and presentation in alignment with brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
• Communicate changes in stock or store layout effectively to all team members.
• Regularly audit store administration, resolve issues, and implement procedural changes positively.

Team Leadership and Staff Management

• Monitor and manage salesperson schedules, including work hours, vacations, and days off.
• Address salesperson complaints and concerns, providing ongoing performance feedback and counseling when necessary.
• Encourage full participation of salespersons in creating store goals and developing plans.
• Ensure the team adheres to company dress code and personal presentation standards, reflecting the company image.
• Carry out corrective action and progressive discipline as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of progressive experience in a customer-centric retail role.
• Proven success in enhancing customer engagement and achieving or exceeding sales KPI targets for stores.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is preferred.

• Adhere to all security procedures throughout the store, maintaining a high standard of security awareness regarding stock and money.
• Demonstrate dependability, reliability, and punctuality in all aspects of the role.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee and employment-related information.
