Wassappi is a Saudi technical platform designed to enable restaurants and cafes to manage customer orders directly via WhatsApp. The platform facilitates the entire ordering process, from menu browsing and product selection to payment, without requiring customers to download an additional application.

The Role

Wassappi is seeking a Business Development Executive to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on attracting new restaurants and cafes within the Saudi market and converting commercial opportunities into active subscriptions for the platform. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify targeted restaurants and cafes and establish communication with decision-makers.
• Work with potential customer lists provided by the company, in addition to independently generating new opportunities.
• Present illustrative offers for the Wassappi platform and explain its benefits to restaurant owners.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact through subscription completion and customer activation.
• Follow up with potential customers, manage sales opportunities, and achieve monthly targets.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or merchant acquisition.
• Experience in food delivery applications, restaurant technologies, point-of-sale systems, or SaaS solutions is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in reaching decision-makers, attracting customers, and closing deals.
• Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills in Arabic.
• Good knowledge of the Saudi market, particularly the restaurant and cafe sector.
• Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.
