The Role: Senior Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

Almarai is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager (Manufacturing) to lead engineering and maintenance operations within its manufacturing facilities. This full-time role is critical for ensuring maximum plant availability through the implementation of best-in-class preventive maintenance systems, effective asset management, and adherence to engineering compliance standards. The position also involves developing a high-performing, multi-skilled engineering workforce. This role is part of a dynamic multinational team focused on supporting the group's growth plans, driven by aggressive expansion and acquisitions in new vertical markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and maintenance operations to maximize plant availability.
• Drive preventive maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement programs.
• Manage engineering projects, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Quality standards.
• Develop and lead a high-performing engineering team.
• Oversee utilities, automation, and critical plant systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• HND/HNC or a Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 7 years of Engineering Management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience within the Food, Dairy, or Beverage industry is essential.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, automation, utilities, and plant operations.
• Proven leadership experience with multi-skilled engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Quality Systems.
