About the Role

Dallah Al Baraka Group is seeking a Cook to join their team in Medina. This full-time position involves supporting chief cooks by preparing high-quality basic food materials and products, ensuring freshness and consistency. The role requires adherence to strict safety and hygiene guidelines within the kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

Follow all relevant procedures to ensure work is carried out consistently and in a controlled manner.
Manage day-to-day operations related to catering services to ensure continuity of work.
Prepare and cook allocated dishes under direct supervision, meeting specified recipe quantity and quality standards.
Assist the chief cook (chef) in ensuring all culinary standards in the kitchen comply with established guidelines.
Contribute to the proper care of kitchen premises and equipment by ensuring correct hygiene procedures and cleaning schedules are followed within safe working practices.
Assist in monitoring stock levels and planning daily schedule requirements, ensuring adequate resources, foodstuffs, and supplies.
Guide and train kitchen staff (helpers and assistant cooks) in necessary skills, reporting any performance issues or concerns regarding the quality or quantity of delivered foodstuffs to superiors.
Comply with all relevant food hygiene, safety, and quality policies, procedures, and controls to maintain a healthy and safe work environment and ensure quality products and services.

Qualifications and Experience

0-1 year of relevant experience.
Ability to use basic kitchen utensils and some specialized equipment.
Understanding and adherence to safety and hygiene guidelines.

Work Environment

This role operates within a catering services environment, requiring close collaboration with chief cooks and other kitchen staff. The position is based in Medina and is a full-time commitment.
