ASMO is scheduled to become operational in 2025, providing integrated end-to-end procurement and supply chain services for companies across industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Initially, the focus will be on Saudi Aramco and its affiliates, with long-term plans to expand to all industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia and eventually the MENA region.

The Role of Customer Onboarding & Transformation Director

The Customer Onboarding & Transformation Director for Procurement will lead the end-to-end onboarding and procurement transformation for new customers. This full-time role, based in Saudi Arabia, ensures successful integration into ASMO's procurement operating model and the achievement of strategic, operational, and commercial objectives. The Director will own the customer onboarding roadmap from initial assessment through transition, stabilization, and handover to relevant Procurement functions. This position also serves as the central Procurement PMO for customer onboarding and transformation programs, overseeing effective transition, coordination, progress monitoring, and executive reporting across all workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end customer onboarding and procurement transformation framework, strategy, roadmap, and transition approach.
• Establish and lead the Procurement PMO for all customer onboarding and transformation programs, including integrated planning, reporting, RAID management, milestone tracking, and executive oversight.
• Act as the primary Procurement interface with customer senior management and executive stakeholders.
• Lead procurement maturity and readiness assessments covering spend, purchase orders, contracts, suppliers, material master, systems, processes, governance, resources, and business demand.
• Identify gaps between the customer’s current procurement model and the target operating model, establishing corresponding transformation roadmaps and implementation priorities.
• Oversee all customer onboarding workstreams across Category Management, Procurement Operations, Governance, Digital/IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Supplier Management, and other relevant functions.
• Lead the transition of customer spend into appropriate procurement channels, including strategic agreements, catalogues, e-Marketplace, automation, and other sourcing solutions.
• Drive procurement standardization, process harmonization, material and data readiness, and supplier optimization across customers.
• Maintain executive visibility through structured processes, steering committee updates, progress reviews, risk reporting, resource assessments, and decision papers.
• Define and monitor onboarding and transformation KPIs, including readiness, milestone achievement, contract migration, spend under agreements, Spot PO reduction, digital adoption, standardization, compliance, and value realization.
• Ensure risks, issues, dependencies, constraints, and critical-path activities are proactively managed, escalated, and resolved.
• Ensure appropriate change management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and knowledge transfer throughout the onboarding journey.
• Lead senior stakeholder engagement, change management, communication, alignment, and resolution of major business, process, technical, or organizational issues.
• Oversee stabilization, post-implementation reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement of the Procurement onboarding methodology, PMO framework, and transformation playbook.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
