Demand & Supply Planner

About the Role

Al Manhal Water Factory (Nestlé Waters KSA) is seeking a Demand & Supply Planner to join their team in Al Madinah. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory, and maximizing profitability by aligning supply with customer demand. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the Demand & Supply Planner is to ensure that the correct products are available in the right quantities, at the optimal time, and at the right cost to meet customer demand. This involves daily coordination with the logistics department to review stock levels, days of supply, and actual sales reports across all branches and warehouses in KSA. The planner is also responsible for creating production and dispatch plans, closely monitoring stock to cover target days of supply, and managing material planning in cooperation with the procurement department and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze regional forecasts, sales forecasts, warehouse available space, and production capacity.
• Conduct detailed forecast analysis per SKU to enhance demand planning accuracy.
• Update and monitor Demand & Supply Planning (DSP) KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all planning process and system documentation is current and compliant with company standards.
• Analyze sales trends and identify key sales drivers for primary products and product groups.
• Oversee proper production planning and material planning to maintain optimum inventory levels for both finished goods and raw/packaging materials, mitigating risks of obsolescence and stock-outs.
• Prepare statistical forecasts to support the sales forecasting process and improve demand planning accuracy.
• Plan production based on available stocks, capacity, demand, and actual sales trends.
• Plan materials considering available stock, demand, actual sales trends, and warehouse capacity, ensuring materials are within shelf-life expiry dates and aiming for optimum inventory cost.
• Plan supply and dispatch activities to ensure stock balancing and prevent bad goods.
• Serve as a key liaison for volume communications between commercial and technical departments.

Experience Required

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in demand and supply planning or a related field.

This is a full-time position based at Al Manhal Water Factory (Nestlé Waters KSA) in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
