The Role: Door Attendant (Saudi National)

Accor is seeking a dedicated Door Attendant to join the team at Raffles The Red Sea. This full-time role is essential for creating a welcoming and polished arrival and departure experience for all guests. The Door Attendant will uphold the brand's standards of emotional luxury and contribute to the resort's nature-focused concept.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, sincere greeting to all guests upon arrival and departure, utilizing appropriate names and titles when possible.
• Open and close vehicle and resort doors with professionalism, ensuring an attentive arrival experience.
• Coordinate with the Bell Team, Valet, and Front Office to manage guest luggage and transportation needs efficiently.
• Assist the Valet team with parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a responsible and timely manner.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the hotel entrance and public areas.
• Uphold the brand’s Emotional Luxury philosophy, ensuring bespoke, heartfelt, and memorable interactions.
• Share knowledge about the resort’s nature-focused concept and the unique natural beauty of the Red Sea destination.
• Anticipate guest preferences by observing needs and providing proactive, non-intrusive assistance.
• Ensure the safety and security of the entrance area, monitoring traffic flow and reporting unusual activities or hazards.
• Adhere to all Raffles and Accor hygiene, safety, and service standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is considered an asset.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury 5-star hotel or resort.
• Must possess a valid driving license and have experience with luxury vehicle handling.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional appearance and etiquette aligned with luxury standards.
• Strong physical stamina, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move objects in excess of 75 pounds as required.
• Demonstrated empathy, emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for guest service.
• Experience in a resort pre-opening environment is highly desirable.
