(EFB) Electronic Flight Bag Officer

About the Role

flyadeal is seeking an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Officer to support Flight Operations. This full-time role is responsible for the use and certification of Electronic Flight Bag systems, ensuring their operational stability and compliance within the company's fleet. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in enabling overall EFB operations, including hardware, software, content, and IT stability.
• Support hardware and software configuration management.
• Conduct testing to ensure valid application software versions and current data packages are installed on EFB systems.
• Assist with regular audits and random quality checks.
• Carry out procedures for EFB hardware and software maintenance.
• Provide effective and efficient ongoing logistic support for all e-enabled aircraft within flyadeal, meeting company EFB requirements.
• Support new aircraft EFB and communications-related components to future-proof EFB operations.
• Participate in discussions with the Airline Purchasing Department regarding e-enabled products and services, and maintain vital records related to EFB administration.
• Provide first-line IT support for pilots and escalate issues to the EFB Administrator or IT Department as required.
• Represent the Company at meetings as required by the EFB Administrator and stay informed of industry developments.
• Ensure all aircraft documents are properly maintained, updated, and readily available across the fleet.
• Manage all standby EFB devices at the assigned base, ensuring they are updated, configured, and ready for immediate operational use, while providing necessary pilot support before flights.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent diploma.
• Demonstrable experience working with networked computers.
• Experience with IT Networking and Apple iOS.
