Engineering Technician Electrician

About the Role

Rosewood AMAALA is seeking an Engineering Technician Electrician to ensure the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of all electrical systems. This full-time role is based in Saudi Arabia and is critical for maintaining guest comfort, ambiance, and essential operations across guest rooms, villas, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. The position requires technical precision, proactive maintenance, and strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot MDB, SMDB, DB panels, wiring systems, lighting, and power distribution.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply across all guest and public areas.
• Perform load monitoring and fault isolation.
• Conduct weekly generator no-load tests and semi-annual load tests during low occupancy.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical systems and carry out timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
• Ensure safe electrical supply to kitchens, cold rooms, and laundry areas, supporting hygiene compliance.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe isolation procedures.
• Respond to electrical emergencies including power failures, short circuits, and equipment breakdowns.
• Support fire and life safety systems and emergency lighting.
• Operate across day, afternoon, and night shifts as required, supporting critical operations during off-peak hours.
• Provide temporary coverage for other engineering roles during absences.
• Collaborate effectively within a multinational and culturally diverse team.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience as an Electrician or in a similar engineering technician role.
• Demonstrated technical precision in electrical systems operation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in diagnosing faults and performing timely repairs.
• Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe isolation procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.
