We are seeking a Hair Stylist to join our team in a full-time capacity, providing comprehensive hair care services to guests.

Position Summary

The Hair Stylist is responsible for delivering a range of hair care services, including cutting, designing, coloring, and styling, to ensure guest satisfaction. This role involves direct interaction with guests, advising on hair care, and maintaining a professional and safe service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing of guests' hair.
• Evaluate hair condition and appearance to determine the appropriateness of scheduled services.
• Advise guests on proper hair care and recommend home care regimens.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services and retail products.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.
• Set up workstations and treatment rooms with necessary products, equipment, and supplies, ensuring guest comfort and safety.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools according to established standards.
• Monitor and adhere to the daily time schedule for appointments.
• Address inappropriate guest behavior by stopping service and informing a supervisor or manager.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate their service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with guests and colleagues.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 year of experience in hair styling or a related field.
• Current licensure in the service area is required.
• Ability to complete safety training and certifications.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
