Job Summary: Housekeeping Supervisor - Saudi National

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures that the "Gold Standards" of The Ritz-Carlton are consistently delivered. This full-time role involves overseeing housekeeping operations, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with various departments. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities (*, pool) after cleaning to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Manage daily activities by running sold room reports, verifying room status, identifying discrepant rooms, prioritizing cleaning, and updating the status of departing guest rooms.
• Coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments.
• Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments.
• Communicate operational issues to the next shift and complete required paperwork.

Operational Duties and Support

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Adhere to all company and safety/security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express genuine appreciation to guests.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with colleagues and guests.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and over 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Capacity to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Proficiency in entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
