HSE Supervisor Rig Move Operations

About the Role

Arabian Machinery and Heavy Equipment Company is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor for Rig Move Operations in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing and ensuring the strict implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards during all phases of rig move operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong field experience in drilling or rig move logistics, with a focus on compliance with Saudi Aramco and local HSE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all HSE aspects throughout rig move operations, including dismantling, transportation, and rig-up at new sites.
• Ensure strict adherence to company HSE policies, Saudi Aramco standards, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Conduct pre-job safety meetings (toolbox talks) and perform comprehensive risk assessments (JSA, HIRA).
• Inspect lifting operations, load securing, crane activities, and transportation routes for potential hazards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and audits to identify unsafe practices and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented.
• Liaise with Rig Move Supervisors, Logistics Coordinators, and Contractors to ensure all operations are executed safely.
• Maintain and update incident/accident reports, near misses, and safety performance data.
• Assist in the development and delivery of HSE training for crews involved in rig moves.
• Ensure proper PPE usage, adherence to the permit-to-work system, and emergency preparedness during all rig move phases.
• Prepare and submit HSE reports to management and client representatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in an HSE supervisory role, specifically within drilling or rig move logistics.
• Demonstrated experience in ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco and local HSE regulations.
• Proven ability to conduct safety meetings, risk assessments, and site inspections effectively.
• Strong understanding of lifting operations, load securing, and crane activities.

Work Environment

This role requires field supervision in a harsh desert environment. Candidates must be physically fit and capable of coordinating with a multi-national workforce. The position is full-time, and the salary will be disclosed during the recruitment process.
