About the HVAC Technician Role

Luxury Collection is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician with 0-1 years of experience to join our team. This role is central to ensuring optimal environmental conditions across our property by maintaining and repairing HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration systems. The technician will be responsible for daily inspections and monitoring to ensure efficient operation and guest comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of the mechanical plant.
• Monitor and control property temperature settings.
• Analyze and monitor energy and utilities usage to identify efficiencies.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other relevant equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems and electronic wiring.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine maintenance for pools and spas.

Operational and Safety Duties

• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, ensuring confidentiality of proprietary information and protection of company assets.
• Acknowledge and welcome guests according to company standards, proactively addressing service needs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
• Foster positive working relationships and respond constructively to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Certifications

Candidates for this role should possess the following:

• 0-1 years of experience in HVAC maintenance or a related field.
• Mandatory: EPA Universal Certification.
• Mandatory: Valid Driver's License.
• Mandatory: HVAC Certification.

Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to perform various physical tasks, including but not limited to:

• Reaching overhead and below the knees.
• Navigating confined or elevated spaces.
• Moving across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Ascending and descending stairs, service ramps, and ladders.
• Grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of various sizes and weights.
• Assisting with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing over 100 pounds.
• Independently moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
