Intermediate Engineer

About the Role

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking an Intermediate Engineer to provide general engineering support within the PMCM team. This full-time, site-based position involves supervision and monitoring activities on behalf of RCRC. The role is cross-disciplinary, requiring flexibility to cover various site team needs across civil, roads, drainage, utilities, and landscape works. The Intermediate Engineer will report to the Site Engineer or Construction Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day site supervision and inspections across all construction disciplines.
• Assist with Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and technical record-keeping.
• Collect and compile progress data for site team reporting.
• Support QA/QC monitoring, including ITPs, inspection records, and NCR tracking, and contribute to quality reporting.
• Assist in coordination among various parties on site, including the Lead Developer's teams, subcontractors, utility providers, and RCRC representatives.
• Support testing and commissioning activities, as well as the assembly of close-out documentation such as as-built drawings and O&M manuals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5-10 years of site engineering experience on infrastructure or land development works, with exposure to more than one discipline.
• Working knowledge of site documentation and QA/QC processes, including RFIs, submittals, ITPs, NCRs, and progress records.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers, or eligibility to register.
• Experience on large-scale land development or infrastructure programs.
• Familiarity with a project management information system (PMIS) and formal document control.

Work Environment

This is a site-based position, requiring the Intermediate Engineer to be present on construction sites to perform duties related to supervision and monitoring. The role involves interaction with various stakeholders, including developer teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
