Role Summary

The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property assets. This full-time role involves patrolling all areas, responding to emergencies, conducting inspections, and maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The supervisor will also assist management in training and coaching employees, serving as a role model for company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Patrol all property areas, secure rooms, and assist guests with room access.
Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits.
Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems; authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas.
Assist guests and employees during emergency situations, respond to accidents, and administer first aid/CPR as required.
Gather information, complete reports, and maintain confidentiality of documents, releasing information only to authorized individuals.
Defuse disturbances, resolve safety hazard situations, and handle interruptions and complaints in accordance with company policies.
Escort unwelcome persons from the property and ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws.
Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
Proficiency in visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
Competency in entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
Capability to move at a speed required to respond to work situations (*, run, walk, jog).
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
Physical capacity to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements for this position.
