About Zamil Offshore Services Company

Zamil Offshore Services Company is seeking an Offshore Safety Officer to join their team in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for maintaining high safety standards in offshore operations.

Role Overview

The Offshore Safety Officer is responsible for overseeing and enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance across offshore worksites. This involves ensuring adherence to company policies, project requirements, and applicable safety standards, including those set by Saudi Aramco.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco, project, and company HSE policies, as well as applicable offshore safety standards.
Conduct regular offshore worksite inspections to identify, assess, and control hazards.
Ensure strict compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis/Job Hazard Analysis (JSA/JHA), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, working at height, lifting operations, and Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) requirements.
Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and daily HSE briefings.
Monitor Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance, safe work practices, and emergency preparedness.
Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and follow up on corrective actions.
Maintain daily HSE records, inspection reports, observations, and statistics.
Exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions or activities are identified.
Coordinate effectively with the Offshore Supervisor, Project HSE team, and Saudi Aramco representatives.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in offshore safety.
Demonstrated knowledge of Saudi Aramco HSE policies and offshore safety standards.
Proficiency in implementing safety protocols such as PTW, JSA/JHA, LOTO, and emergency response procedures.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in an offshore environment within the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. The role requires active participation in worksite activities and close collaboration with various teams and external representatives.
