Operations Manager

About the Role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking an Operations Manager to lead project delivery in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing all activities to ensure building contracts are secured and executed on time, to the highest quality, and within budget, while maximizing client satisfaction. The Operations Manager will work closely with Project Managers and commercial teams to manage cost/value reconciliations and ensure all contractual obligations are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct contract reviews, negotiations, and project execution planning.
• Understand performance targets, identify, and manage potential risks and opportunities.
• Specify project objectives and plans, including scope, budgeting, scheduling, performance requirements, and subcontractor selection.
• Compile procurement schedules and coordinate with Project Managers and commercial teams on site supply and specialist requirements.
• Develop and implement project strategy and programs, monitoring progress and initiating corrective actions.
• Represent the company at site meetings and ensure accurate record-keeping throughout projects.
• Monitor site practices to ensure compliance with company procedures and promote high standards of health, safety, and environmental management.
• Lead project handover, ensuring defect-free completion and implementing strategies for defect closure and certification.
• Oversee construction sites, managing vendors and trades, and maximizing resource efficiency (labour, materials, equipment).
• Develop and manage client and supply chain relationships.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the delivery team, ensuring continuous professional development.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering multiple projects that exceed client expectations.
• Proven experience in controlling costs, timing, and quality in line with targets.
• Ability to resolve technical, operational, and contractual issues on site.
• Good knowledge of the Fit-Out market.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multinational market environment.
• Proven experience in managing teams, supply chains, direct employees, and consultants.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for developing project management and installation capabilities across various regions within the Kingdom. This includes recruiting, rewarding, retaining, and developing top talent, fostering continuous professional development for the team, and sharing best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Quality and Efficiency

This role involves monitoring methods and output to ensure required quality standards are achieved at minimum cost, alongside optimizing organizational methods for maximum efficiency.
