About the Role

United Motors Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician to join our team. This full-time role involves repairing vehicle dents, dings, and hail damage using specialized tools and techniques, while preserving the vehicle’s original factory finish. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in paintless dent repair and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality paintless dent repair (PDR) on customer vehicles, addressing small dents, dings, and hail damage.
• Inspect and accurately assess vehicle damage to determine the most appropriate repair methods.
• Utilize specialized PDR tools to access and remove dents without affecting the vehicle's paintwork.
• Ensure all repairs meet established company and industry standards for safety and quality.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors, estimators, and customers regarding repair status and timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure proper care for company tools and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and workplace procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician, with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of PDR tools and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and a high level of craftsmanship.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Certification or formal training in PDR is considered a plus.

Work Environment

This role operates within an automotive repair shop or collision center environment. It requires the ability to stand, bend, and work with tools for extended periods. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory to ensure safety.

Customer Service Contribution

The PDR Technician is expected to provide exceptional customer service and contribute positively to overall team success by ensuring high-quality repairs and clear communication.
