This position supports remote work and requires a strong academic background in Industrial Engineering. Role Overview

The Peer Reviewer will be responsible for critically evaluating academic manuscripts submitted for publication. This role involves assessing the quality, originality, and scientific rigor of research papers within the field of Industrial Engineering. The reviewer will provide essential feedback to guide editorial decisions, contributing to the integrity and advancement of scholarly work.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the originality and novelty of submitted manuscripts, determining their contribution to the field.
• Assess the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verify that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research.
• Analyze the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are clearly supported by the data and are significant to the field.
• Provide constructive feedback, highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns to authors and editors.
• Make recommendations regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection based on the evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related subject area.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the field.
• Publication record of at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles in the relevant discipline.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
