About the Role

Integrated Solutions Tawantech is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join its team. This full-time role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing complex backend systems and services. The successful candidate will ensure solutions meet high standards for scalability, security, performance, and reliability, while actively contributing to technical standards and engineering improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.
Manage the end-to-end delivery of complex features, from initial technical design through to production deployment.
Design and optimize database interactions, integrations, and inter-service communication.
Build and operate event-driven flows utilizing Kafka and enterprise messaging systems.
Ensure all solutions adhere to security, performance, availability, and maintainability requirements.
Apply secure coding practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and sensitive data handling.
Conduct code reviews and maintain engineering standards across the development squad.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement durable fixes.
Contribute to technical design decisions and application architecture.
Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment processes, and observability on OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms.
Identify technical debt and drive improvements in design and code quality.
Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing within the chapter.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in backend engineering. This role requires a strong understanding of backend systems and a commitment to developing high-quality, robust solutions.
