Due to expansion in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Havelock One Interiors is seeking experienced leaders to advance its business in this key growth market. The KSA office is located in Riyadh, with projects across the country.

Role Summary

The Senior Projects Manager (SPM) is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and control of fast-track fit-out projects from inception to completion. These projects span various sectors including Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, and Education. The primary objective of this full-time role is to deliver financially viable projects that meet client requirements, are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with company goals.
• Research and build relationships with new clients, attending industry events to gather market insights.
• Supervise the end-to-end tendering process.
• Identify stakeholders and plan communications, developing comprehensive project management plans and schedules.
• Define activities for all stakeholders and plan procurement in line with project schedules.
• Identify and manage project risks.
• Specify project objectives, scope, budget, schedule, performance requirements, and select sub-contractors.
• Interface with the Project team to ensure effective resource utilization (labour, materials, equipment).
• Coordinate and control planning, design, estimating, contracting, and construction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate project records, oversee construction sites, and manage vendors and trades.
• Provide regular updates on site operations to relevant stakeholders and maintain client communication.
• Direct and manage project execution, ensuring proper monitoring, coordination, and control.
• Acquire, develop, and manage the project team.
• Conduct procurement, distribute project information, and perform quality assurance and control.
• Manage all local municipality and government approvals for project operation and handover.
• Verify and control changes in scope and costs, and manage project invoicing and final accounting.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in an interior fit-out contracting company.
• Proven track record as a successful leader in project management within fit-out contracting businesses.
• Academic qualification, preferably a University Degree, in a technical discipline.
• Experience in managing a team.
• Successful track record of working on diverse projects such as Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, and Education.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Very strong technical, execution, and commercial abilities with sound knowledge of various trades in fit-out contracting.
• Excellent English communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to effectively manage single or multiple projects from award through implementation to handover.
• Very good knowledge of the KSA market, including client, sub-contractor, and supplier networks, is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the latest developments and trends in the fit-out market, with the ability to suggest ideas to enhance the company's industry presence.
