Simulator Instructor (DS )

About Maersk Training and the Role

Maersk Training is seeking a Simulator Instructor (DS) to join their team. This part-time role is based in the Eastern region and focuses on delivering specialized training courses. The instructor will be responsible for providing Advanced / Enhanced Well control and Well sharp courses onsite in Asia and the Middle East, utilizing the DS 6000 simulator.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Advanced / Enhanced Well control and Well sharp courses using the DS 6000 simulator.
• Develop SIM snaps as per client requirements.
• Customize Advanced / Enhanced Oil & Gas courses and SIM snaps according to client specifications.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of experience in delivering Advanced / Enhanced Well control and Well sharp courses on the DS 6000 simulator. The following certifications are mandatory:

• IWCF Drilling Certificate – Supervisor Level 4 Certificate (Surface & Subsea)
• IWCF Drilling Certificate – Instructor Certificate (Surface & Subsea)
• IADC Drilling Certificate – Instructor Certificate (Surface & Subsea)
• IADC Well Service & Workover Certificate – Instructor Certificate

Work Context

This is a part-time position requiring onsite course delivery in various locations across Asia and the Middle East. The role demands a professional with a minimum of one year of specialized experience in simulator-based well control training.
