Role Overview

Marriott International is seeking a Steward, also known as a Utility Cleaner, to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role is essential for supporting various vital hotel functions, primarily focusing on cleaning needs across departments such as the kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare fresh, clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers, and dryers.
Transport dishware or linens across the hotel premises.
Ensure a safe workplace by following company policies and procedures.
Uphold quality standards and adhere to quality expectations.
Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
Support the team in achieving common goals and respond appropriately to concerns from other employees.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Demands

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications

No high school diploma or *** equivalent is required.
No prior related work experience is required.
No supervisory experience is required.
No specific license or certification is required for this role.
