Supv II Food & Beverage

About the Role

Sheraton is seeking a Full-time Supv II-Food & Beverage to ensure optimal service delivery and guest satisfaction. This role involves overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards of service, and supporting management in various departmental functions. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure team collaboration for optimum service and guest needs fulfillment.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing areas.
• Inspect storage areas for organization, adherence to FIFO, and cleanliness standards.
• Conduct scheduled inventories, stock, and requisition necessary supplies.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, and guest safety.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs as needed.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and initial contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Adhere to all company and safety/security policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, ensure confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
• Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns appropriately.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement improvements for organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Capability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capability to navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
