Technician Painter

About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Technician Painter to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves applying various finishes to property surfaces, preparing new surfaces, and maintaining painting tools and equipment. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
• Prepare new surfaces for finish coats by applying primers or sealers.
• Remove old finishes through stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
• Cover surfaces with appropriate protective materials during painting and post relevant paint signs.
• Clean and properly store paint, painting tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors to modify colors of paint, stain, or varnish.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.

Professional Conduct and Guest Service

• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Ensure confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with colleagues and guests.
• Support team efforts to achieve common goals and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Capable of moving up and down a ladder.
• Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
