About the Role

Al Futtaim Group is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the workshop floor. This full-time role is central to ensuring that technicians deliver repairs and services to OEM standards, on time, and within specified labor hours. The Workshop Supervisor acts as an operational link between Service Advisors, Parts, and the Technician team, contributing to customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Workshop Supervisor is directly accountable for technician productivity, workshop throughput, and repair quality. The role also ensures adherence to safety and housekeeping standards. By maintaining disciplined floor management, providing strong technical leadership, and ensuring continuous operational control, this position protects customer commitments and supports dealership profitability. The role is critical in driving workshop efficiency and maintaining zero-defect standards, which are essential for customer satisfaction, aftersales profitability, and OEM compliance.

Key Duties

• Allocate Repair Orders (ROs) to technicians based on skill level, technical complexity, and workload capacity to maximize labor utilization and productivity.
• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) continuously throughout the day, addressing operational bottlenecks and ensuring promised delivery times are met.
• Ensure technicians adhere to OEM repair manuals, approved diagnostic procedures, and dealership standard operating processes for every job.
• Drive workshop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including productivity, efficiency, labor utilization, and technician performance against monthly operational targets.
• Control workshop flow to optimize bay usage, technician allocation, and service turnaround times.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct final quality inspections on completed repairs prior to vehicle release to prevent repeat repairs, customer comebacks, and warranty risks.
• Investigate technical failures, repeat repairs, and customer complaints, implementing corrective actions and providing technician coaching as required.
• Ensure proper usage of Special Service Tools (SSTs), diagnostic equipment, calibration systems, and OEM-approved repair methods.
• Monitor adherence to technical service bulletins (TSBs), recall procedures, and manufacturer technical updates across the workshop team.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 6-8 years of relevant experience in a workshop environment, demonstrating strong technical leadership and operational control capabilities.
