Yard Supervisor Marine

About the Role

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor - Marine to oversee daily yard operations. This full-time position involves managing manpower, equipment, and material movement within a marine or industrial environment. The successful candidate will ensure efficient yard activities while upholding high standards of safety, housekeeping, and operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily yard operations and personnel.
• Manage the movement, handling, loading, unloading, and storage of materials and equipment.
• Ensure proper yard organization, housekeeping, and accurate material identification.
• Coordinate effectively with logistics, marine, operations, and maintenance teams.
• Monitor yard equipment status and report any maintenance requirements promptly.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and safe work procedures.
• Prepare daily yard activity reports and maintain comprehensive operational records.
• Resolve operational issues efficiently to ensure smooth and timely yard activities.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in yard operations, marine, shipyard, logistics, or industrial environments.
• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Marine, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supervising yard activities, manpower, equipment, loading/unloading processes, and material handling.
• Strong knowledge of HSE procedures and safe working practices.
• Experience with yard documentation, inventory/material tracking, and daily operational reporting.
• Marine or shipyard experience is highly preferred.
