The Assistant Executive Housekeeper position at Kempinski Hotels plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service in the Housekeeping Department. The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in managing all cleaning and maintenance operations across floors and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Housekeeping Department Staff to guarantee prompt and courteous service.
  • Assign daily duties and special projects to Room Attendants and Public Area Cleaners, and follow up on progress.
  • Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for new staff.
  • Identify training needs and develop training plans for housekeeping staff.
  • Manage equipment and supplies, ensuring availability and budget compliance.
  • Handle guest comments and requests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Monitor and participate in housekeeping projects and procedures, including Lost and Found and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Assist in preparing the annual manning guide and departmental budget.
  • Perform various administrative tasks such as attending meetings and writing reports.

Additional responsibilities may evolve based on the business needs of the hotel.
